The EQ card lets you do everyday banking and spending and has ALL high interest ALL the time, plus other amazing perks that you just won’t get at any of the big banks. Truly a game changer in Canadian banking.

The Challenge
The Creative Team was tasked to design Art and Copy for the new product launch. This was a blank slate with no defined visual guidelines. So the client leaned on us to create the full campaign from scratch.

The Solution
We started by doing a competitive analysis to see what’s out in the market and determine how we can make noise, stand out, and make our mark.
Next we moved into creative exploration. We explored Art and Copy ideas and narrowed it down into a Card-Centric art style, aimed to capture attention and to breathe life and excitement into this product launch.
From a Copy POV – A challenger tone of voice is carried throughout all the pieces, but also highlights all the key features and benefits with ease. From an Art POV – we pushed the brand’s creative boundaries by creating a unique set of stunning and highly adaptable assets that can live consistently across all touch points.

Result
Together with the team, we built a strong, bold, and complete product launch/campaign, designed thoughtfully to keep our customers in mind. Overall the design package was executed perfectly, making the launch a big success. Just in the first few days – thousands of card orders were placed. The email campaign had a 66% open rate and 15% click through rate (wow). We saw some of the highest conversion rates on our paid ads. More metrics on the way but definitely off to a rockin’ start.
